AQUA-SOIL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 

DO I NEED TO ADD FERTILISER WHEN USING AQUA-SOIL?
No. 
The product contains slow release fertiliser and trace elements, as well as organic matter. 
100% of the fertiliser in Aqua-Soil will be available to the plant, as it is fused to the super absorbent polymer and does not leach out. 
Further fertiliser or organic matter may be added if required.
 

DO I NEED NUTRIENTS?
No the product contains NPK and trace elements as well as organic matter. 
Other nutrients can be added later and can be absorbed.
 

IS AQUA-SOIL™ ENVIRONMENTALLY COMPATIBLE & SAFE?
The product is non-toxic and environmentally safe and does not contaminate plants, soil or ground water. 
With an essentially neutral pH, AQUA-SOIL™ breaks down into its component parts of CO2, water, potassium and nitrogen with no residual toxicity, but should be kept out of reach of children.
 

HOW MUCH PROTECTION IS AFFORDED TO THE PLANT?

Mortality of transplants was reduced by more than 80% due 
to the extremely efficient root protection offered by the product.
 

HOW LONG DOES AQUA-SOIL™ LAST IN THE SOIL?
The product retains its ability to expand and contract for up to 5 years, and is therefore an effective water management medium.
 
 

HOW MUCH WATER CAN I SAVE?
Up to 50% depending on conditions and therefore nutrients are retained longer.
 
 

HOW QUICKLY DOES AQUA-SOIL™ ABSORB WATER?
100% of capacity is reached in one to two hours. 95% of the water is available to the plants. Wilting point is extended by more than 100%.
 
 

HOW IS AQUA-SOIL™ DIFFERENT FROM OTHER POLYMERS
AQUA-SOIL™ is a potassium rather than sodium-based polymer.
It has a gel strength that is three times higher than competitive products and does not increase in volume when used.
